A creature of habit
You know when you say you're never going to procrastinate again or eat junk food again, or do anything that you said you wouldn't do again? Well. Here I am, procrastinating (not hardcore though, since I've already done work. So really I'm just taking a break) and eating junk food. Why is it so hard to resist? Apparantly it takes something like 21 days of conscious effort to make or break a habit. I've never actually had the perserverence to do something for 21 days so I can't say. However, I CAN say that if you go to sleep at 2 am and wake at 10 for four days, you'll find that you've suddenly formed a new "habit" and will subsequently be unable to fall asleep at a decent hour. My chem exam begins at nine on Friday. Time to learn a new habit, in the next four days. I managed to fall asleep at about one today but although I woke up numerous times between 7 (when I was supposed to get up) and 10, I didn't actually manage to drag my ass out of bed till 10.15. Yeesh. Not good. Although I probably could have used the sleep.
Also - NEED TIME (and money) TO GO CHRISTMAS SHOPPING, DANGIT! Stella, you were so intelligent, and I should have listened to you and done it way beforehand! AAUGH!
I want to go have some Popeyes chicken. Can y'all believe I've never even tried it? :o( (*gasps all round*)
